I had originally intended to write about my Top 10 Albums of 2005 and, after researching the subject, found that there weren't ten good albums in 2005. I counted seven. Two of them technically came out in 2004. This, for someone in my field, is marginally depressing. It's like if you teach and your entire class failed to get into college. Or every day of work, if you're an investment banker. Bottom line: if you can think of anything past the standard alt-country + Kanye + Green Day submissions, I'm open. Until then, I'm going to percolate...
