Every February, about 2,000 artists and music industry people converge on Memphis for the Folk Alliance International Conference. In one long weekend, there are seemingly millions of concerts, all under one roof. I was lucky enough to be a showcased artist at this year's FAI Conference--I played something like seven shows in four days. Of course, I had a blast.
(Click here to read my Another Cup of Coffee interview with the conference's co-director, Cindy Cogbill).
One of the best parts of the week was getting to hear so many other artists perform. I threw together a video of a very few favorites from the week. If you like what you hear, check these artists out!
I'll probably post something longer about the Folk Conference itself, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the vid, and have a great weekend. See y'all next week for a double dose of YouTube Concerts (#4 Monday, #5 Wednesday)!
FAI 2011 Sampler

Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?
I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything I've worked
hard on. Any tips?

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my
own blog and was curious what all is needed to get setup?
I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very internet smart so I'm not 100% certain. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
